Another week gone, today attended 玉剛仔, Jasper 1 yr old birthday party held in North Point MacDonald. there were actaully a lot of babies there, i mean real babies, not chicks tho...haha, those babies are just all so cute and especially Timothy, his head is sooo big like a huge marble ball, and he is just so cool and stuff. took a bunch of pic in FB, go see it yourself.
Fortunately there are a whole lot of new albums released, so they can be with me and shit when i am all by myself...which means most of the time tho..by the influence of Lung Sir, i discovered the metalcore music, and i by chance discovered this band myself and it just clicks me right away... "Avenged Sevenfold", i love it from the album <City of Evil>, to the latest one <Avenged Sevenfold> which released 2007, try the track "Afterlife" and "Seize the Day", 2 of my favorite songs, they are cool if you youtube them.
Other than metalcore, there are else categaries, first up, 小宇, been waiting for more than a year, and his new album <就站在這裡> keeps the very high standard, and i just love him, love his voice, love his R&B style... on the other hand, we got another Taiwanese who we have been waiting forever, 曹格, new album released days ago, <超級4th場>, his vocal just keeps your mouth open after listening. recommand track "寂寞先生", "Supermarket"...also Tank new album <第三回合>, ain't bad as well...then we move from Taiwan to Japan, 平井堅, another new album for him <Ken's Bar II>, nice vocal, some oldies classic, not bad for chilling. speaking of chill, Susan Wong new ablum <511>, i am not a fan of her, and she doesn't impress me much, but her ablum is easy for sleeping tho. then we comes from metacore rock to brit rock, "Placebo", a new band name for me, i don't know their history tho, new album <Battle for the Sun>, pretty much like "coldplay" and "Travis" those sound for me, not a bad track to keep in my list.
and there are some more, been listening to some older albums lately too, 宇多田光 <This is the One>, i like this album, all English R&B, really not bad. 杜德偉 <Best Love 2>, another classic; 陳曉東, "明天", damn hard song to sing! i guess that's pretty much for recent...
